MyCPEs.com Launches to Help Certified Professionals Manage and Track Continuing Education

MyCPEs.com Launches to Help Certified Professionals Manage and Track Continuing Education

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) October 25, 2011

Three industry-certified IT and audit professionals recently launched a new site designed to help certified professionals across all industries manage and track their professional certifications and continuing education. The site, http://www.mycpes.com, officially launched in late-September.

“This is a much needed service that didn’t exist online – until today. And the better part is that MyCPEs.com is gratis,” said Joe Darmstedter, a MyCPEs.com co-founder.

The site, complimentary for everyone, allows users to input information about their professional certifications – including renewal dates, continuing education deadlines, and more. They are then able to input information about the continuing education they complete to maintain good standing with the organizations that provide their certifications.

Chris Merritt, besides a MyCPEs.com co-founder said, “Most certifying organizations require keep education for the certified professional to remain current and in good standing. Many have minimum yearly continuing education requirements as well as totals over (typically) three years that must be completed. I have several IT certifications and my wife is a CPA. Between the two of us, we have spreadsheets and file folders that we use to keep up with this information so that we can provide it when required or audited. With MyCPEs.com, those spreadsheets and file folders are no longer needed, and managing our professional certifications and education credits got a whole lot easier.”

Some certifying organizations provide their members with similar capabilities as MyCPEs.com, but many do not. For those with multiple certifications, MyCPEs.com is a place where they can input all of their certifications and continuing education information in one unified location.

Certified professionals that sign up for a gratuitous account are capable to track their certification dates, input completed continuing education, create reports, review dashboards of their progress, and are yet exhibited with job opportunities grinded on their location, profession, and certifications. MyCPEs.com likewise offers a premium membership which adds some enhanced dashboards, machinelike email reminders when deadlines are approaching, advocated keeping education courses/credits, and more.

To drive membership to the site and thank their members, MyCPEs.com will be giving away an iPad to one subscriber (free or paid) in a random drawing contest that will begin in early November.

To learn more, or sign up for a free am (and become eligible to win an iPad), visit MyCPEs.com.

Former Credit Repair CEO Says ?Do-It-Yourself? Credit Repair is Easier Than People Think

Former Credit Repair CEO Says “Do-It-Yourself” Credit Repair is Easier Than People Think

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) October 05, 2011

Not many CEOs dissolve a successful company to build a new one, but Jeremy Maher did.

“I was conflicted about the credit repair industry in oecumenical,” said Maher, CEO of a former credit repair business. So Maher dissolved his successful credit repair business six months ago after only a year in business. He became convinced that most people are not only capable of repairing their own credit, but can do it more easily and cheaply than most companies can.

“I’m out of the industry now, so I can say that. But the fact is, every time a company successfully repairs someone’s credit they lose a customer,” Maher said. “So they sell them services or do things that really keep some customers there longer than they need to be in order to keep their customer base; I didn’t feel good about that.”

As the CEO of his own credit repair company, he had to think seriously about quitting his job — but he did it, and dissolved the business to start a free website and blog, providing advice, tips, tools and information that can help anyone willing to invest the time to repair their own credit.

Here are five tips Maher has on his website, http://www.MyCreditRepairTips.com, for consumers who want to repair their credit themselves:

Take it one step at a time. Don’t try to learn or absorb all the information about credit repair all at once.     Feeling scared, intimidated and inadequate about the process is normal. Don’t let fear stop you. Find a friend, spouse or trusted advisor to help you.     Set a time limit. Work on it for 15 minutes at a time, then get up and walk away. You can set a goal of 15 minutes a day total. Chip away at it one day at a time.     Set small goals, like reading an article about credit repair or ordering your credit report. Each time you complete a small goal successfully you gain the confidence to do the next step.     Take lots of deep breaths when you feel panicky. It will help stop the panic. If you feel overwhelmed, get up and go do something else. As long as you continue to learn, and to set small goals and work toward achieving them, you can repair your credit.

Legal credit repair doesn’t happen overnight. Anyone who promises to fix your credit in a matter of hours is lying. It takes some time, but it can be done.

“I bushel my own credit, and helped friends repair theirs. That’s how I got into the business to commenced with,” Maher said. “I helped a lot of populated, but I’ve come full circle now. I see that the best way for people to mended their credit and gain the skills to keep a good ascribe score is to do it themselves.”

Maher is launching a do-it-yourself credit system on October 12, 2011 that will help consumers for about the same cost many pay a credit restoring company the first month, before any work is done.

Q&A: How can I get Experian to change my billing address?

Question by Lucky Miroku: How can I get Experian to change my billing address?
I trying to purchase car insurance but I can’t because Experian reports I am still in the old address.

Best answer:

Answer by Judy
Have to tried move to Experian.com and disputing the address and putting the new one on?If so, you will then have to do this by mail. You will have to mail them produce that you dwell where you dwell.Type a cover letter – keep it super short – long letters confound them. And send a copy of an utility bill and a copy of your dr. lic with your new address.Another quick way.Apply for a credit card. They will report your new address to the credit bureaus.Go for a major one – not a store one.The major ones are likely to report to all 3 bureaus.Note: The inquiry will take 1 or 2 points off your score./
